The Woodland Renaissance Fair | Forests online

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Join us Saturday, September 24 from 4-9 p.m. for the first-ever Renaissance Fair at The Woodlands. This TOTALLY FREE event is organized by The Woodlands Symphony, The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Arts in the Park and The Howard Hughes Corporation.

Step into the spirit and dress up in your favorite Renaissance “outfit” or just let your imagination run wild and be someone else for a day. Don’t forget to participate in the costume contest with prizes at 6:00 p.m.!!!

There is so much to do and see. Try new delicacies in the food and drink trucks and visit multiple vendors and performers throughout the park. Picnics, chairs, or blankets are allowed, so plan to spend the afternoon and stay until dusk. Get your face painted, have a henna tattoo artist create a “tattoo” for you, and check out the other fun tips we have for family fun. You can even make noise in the drum circles or learn to juggle with everyone’s favorite jester, “Claude”.

Music lovers, head to the main stage and hear the strings of the Woodlands Area Youth Symphony, The Woodlands Woodwinds and our signature band, The Woodlands Symphony Brass, as they play after the sun goes down for the grand finale.

Just as artists have done from the Renaissance era until today, tips and donations will be accepted on the day of the event to ensure that your hometown orchestra, The Woodlands Symphony, continues to bringing you more FREE events like this every year!
