Highland Park and Dallas Jesuit are both undefeated in their district, but something has to give this week as they battle it out for the No. 1 spot in the Texas Class 6A Region I District 7 leaderboard.
Unbeaten Highland Park is ranked No. 8 in the Texas Top 50, but Dallas Jesuit is yet to lose a district game in three games this season and hopes to continue that streak.
Both of these teams have powerful offenses that are averaging over 35 points per game this season, which should make this a fun game to watch.

Highland Park (4-0, 2-0) rolled to start the season. The Scots are averaging 46 points per game while holding opposing teams to a combined average of just 15.5 points.
Their powerful offense is under the leadership of senior quarterback Brennan Storer who shines in her senior season in high school.
The Western Michigan commitment has played in just 13 of Highland Park’s 16 quarters this season, but he’s thrown for over 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns, and added three more rushing scores on nearly 150 yards so far.
Storer and the Scotts come into this one on the strength of a 63-0 rout of Irving last week.
Dallas Jesuit (4-1, 3-0) also had a strong start to the 2022 season, with its only loss coming at the hands of Rockwall, which is ranked No. 19 in Texas State.
Apart from this game, Rangers have beaten their opponents 166-58 in their other four games.
Their final game was also against Irving, and like Highland Park, the Rangers won handily behind a 56-7 scoreline.
The Dallas Jesuits offense will need to score in clusters if they are to beat Highland Park and stay atop the Texas Class 6A Region I District 7 standings.
Two of the best teams from one of the most stacked districts in Texas high school football face off this week and you don’t want to miss it.
