Wick Churches invite local elementary-aged youth to enjoy an afternoon of Highland Games-themed outdoor activities during the last week of the school holidays.
Ongoing Covid-19 restrictions mean Pulteneytown and Thrumster Church of Scotland cannot hold their popular vacation club indoors. However, he is working with Wick and Keiss Baptist Church to organize an afternoon Highland Games for children entering primary grades 2-7.
It will take place on Wednesday August 11 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Wick’s Bignold Park.
Reverend Andrew Barrie, Minister for Pulteneytown and Thrumster Church, said: “We know how much local families love being a part of our annual Vacation Club. While we may not be able to get back to normal this year, we wanted to do something fun for the locals kids before they go back to school.
The organizing team requests that registration be completed before 5 p.m. on Friday August 6, via an online form. Further details can be found on posters around town, on the Wick Baptist Church or Pulteneytown and Thrumster Church Facebook pages, or at www.pulteneytownchurch.org.uk
