Green River Firefighters Association event to train firefighters and emergency services on the latest trends and topics


The Green River Firefighters Association’s 35th Annual Bryant Stiles Officer School will be held this Friday-Sunday at the Owensboro Convention Center. This annual training provides fire and emergency services the opportunity to educate themselves on the latest trends and topics affecting the National Fire Service.

These topics include leadership, mental health, recruitment and retention and more.

Many renowned industry leaders and educators will be on hand to train promising fire service personnel. More than 50 vendors are expected Saturday evening, showcasing the latest innovations in products, equipment, vehicles and services for the emergency services industry.

The event will include class sessions every three days. Registrants must enter a first, second, and third choice in each session they plan to attend to ensure placement in a class of their choice. Registration is encouraged before the event but can be done on site.
