The Hues of the Violet Garden event is in full swing in Genshin Impact, and the second day of events is now live. The Moon and Stars Inscribe is a mini-event as part of the Magnificent Irodori Festival and involves taking photos of specific objects to inspire two poets. On the second day of the event, you will have to take pictures of completely new objects compared to the day before.
To start this event, you must complete the prerequisite quests required to unlock it. Then you need to go back to the pair of NPCs named Ootomo and Lenne, who will give you instructions on the day’s photo series. Note: You must set the game time between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM for the quest to activate.
In this event, you will take photos in specific regions to match inspirational daily themes. Today’s theme is Friendship. Get “material” to better help the two poets better understand their writing. The game asks you to take photos of Inazuman creatures unique to the island to obtain key materials. They are Inazuma-specific animals.
To take four pictures one of the following:
- Ornate Unagi
- Electro Crystalfly
- general crab
- Gray Snow Cat
- pale red crab
- fluffy lizard
- Raimei Angelfish
- Red-finned Unagi
- sunny loach
- sunset loach
- purple ibis
Note that you cannot use the Kamera gadget. To complete this event, you must go to the Paimon menu and open the Camera application. Once you open the Camera app and approach any of the above objects, you will notice a circle surrounding the object of interest. Begin your route by heading to this location in Tatarasuna.
Head to the Grand Narukami Shrine and climb the stairs. You can find crows there that will fill your first photo:
If you head a little further up the stairs, you’ll come across a Kitsune that you can use for your second shot. Two less, more than two.
Keep following the path. You can find your third photo along the same route. This time you will take a photo of a Purple Ibis, which was found perched at the location below:
Now you can go to any location to find an animal for your last location. We chose to head to Chinju Forest to take a photo of a Bake-Tanuki, located here:
When you’re done, return to Ootomo and Lenne and receive their poem. They will introduce you to the following prose for your professional photography skills:
Select the second stanza: “Imagine all our wild dreams, to ride the wind on sunny days like flying birds.” After completing the poem, you will receive your rewards and you can wait for the next day which will be the final poem.
