Former Bull Scottie Pippen sells home in Highland Park

The five-bedroom home on just under 2.7 acres was first listed in 2016 with an asking price of just over $ 3 million. By the time of the sale, Pippen had reduced its asking price to just under $ 2 million. The asking price was actually higher than what Pippen had asked for before the Summer Olympics, when the two-time Olympian listed his home on Airbnb as a good short-term rental to watch the games.

Scottie Pippen now lives in Los Angeles and is no longer with Larsa, although it is not clear if their divorce has been finalized. Pippen could not be reached for comment, and Pippen and buyers agent Paul Gorney of Exp Realty did not respond to a request for comment.

Built in 2003, the house features a home theater, an indoor basketball court and an outdoor swimming pool.

Scottie Pippen played with the Bulls until 1988, when the Bulls were six-time NBA champions.

This is not the house that Pippen owned during his years with the six-time champion Bulls; he sold this house, on Shady Lane in Highland Park a few blocks from Michael Jordan’s mansion, in 1996. Pippen bought the Old Mill Road house in 2004, after returning to the Bulls for the final season of his NBA career .

The Chicago Tribune was the first to report the sale of Old Mill Road.
