Faalele is the 44th Gopher to be invited to the Senior Bowl and this is the third year in a row that Minnesota will have at least one individual in the first annual event.
Benjamin St-Just played in the game last year and was then drafted by the Washington football team in the third round. Carter Coughlin was in the Senior Bowl two years ago before being drafted by the New York Giants. That same year, Kamal Martin was invited to the Senior Bowl but did not make the game due to injuries. Martin was then drafted by the Green Bay Packers and is now a member of the Carolina Panthers.
