ORANGE COUNTY, Florida – Disney’s Destination D23 event this weekend showcases upcoming attractions and other upcoming changes at its theme parks around the world and in Central Florida.
Here are some of the big announcements made at D23 this year:

• Disney released more details this weekend on when guests can “save the galaxy”.
Disney officials have said that “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind” will open at EPCOT next summer.
The High Speed Indoor Roller Coaster will feature the very first reverse rollercoaster launch in Disney history.
The ride will also allow guests to rotate 360 degrees to experience different parts of its history.

• A preview has been released for “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser” at Walt Disney World Resort. The new attraction will provide guests with an immersive experience as they become “the hero of your own Star Wars story”.
“Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser” is scheduled to open on March 1, 2022.
• Couples can also say ‘yes’ again, with the return of Disney Fairy Tale Weddings.

• The “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” is scheduled to return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in December.
