Louisbourg takes the biggest win of the week, a hard-fought win over the previously undefeated Eudora. The Wildcats have yet to lose to a Kansas team. Wamego stayed perfect with a 34-6 victory over another undefeated side in Coffeyville. Andover Central fall out of the ballot after their second loss, paving the way for Circle’s reinstatement.

Andale picked up a stunning 108-0 win over Nickerson, a win that saw them score 78 first-half points in just 22 games and only play JV/freshman in the second half. The Indians’ winning streak is now at 43 just before their marquee game with No. 2 Collegiate. The top 8 in the standings all took care of business, although we saw Scott City hand Hugoton their first OT loss. The Beavers didn’t lose to a Kansas team and took Hugoton’s place in the standings.

This year’s War on 24 was a classic as it always seems to be, with Silver Lake leading Rossville in comeback fashion, winning after two in OT. Norton suffered perhaps the most surprising defeat of the season, an overtime loss at the hands of a Goodland side 0-4. Ellsworth has now won by shutout in 4 straight games.
