CHEERS! Colorado Mountain Winefest is here and wine week events abound | Entertainment


Colorado Mountain Winefest arrived with its festival in the park on Saturday and Sunday September 18-19 at Riverbend Park in Palisade.

While these events are sold out, there are plenty more to be found in area wineries as Colorado Wine Week continues through Sunday, September 19.

Here are details of some of the ongoing events:

Red Fox Cellars is planning a Pre-Winefest on Friday from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, September 17 and an after-wine party on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 18. Red Fox Cellars is located at 695. 26 Palisade Road.

Friday’s party will feature food trucks and music from Union of None from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Stray Grass from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday’s party will feature music from Wave 11 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Zolopht from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Colterris Wine Festivus featuring the Eagles Tribute Band The Long Run will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Sunday September 17-18 at Colterris Winery, 3907 North River Road, Palisade. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

General admission tickets with lawn seats (bring your own chair) cost $ 40 per person. The VIP experience with a table for eight and other perks costs $ 750 per table.

A Winefest Barn Bash is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, September 18 and 19 at Mesa Park Vineyards, 3321 C Road, in Palisade.

The Band in the Barrel concert series continues with You Knew Me When performing on Saturday, September 18 at Restoration Vineyards, 3594 E ½ Road, Palisade.
