History Black Forest Wood School turns 100 and its centennial celebration on Saturday includes tours of the school at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., a quilt show at 5 p.m. at the community center and 1920s children’s games at 3:30 p.m. in the park of the Log school. The money raised is used to maintain the building at Black Forest and Shoup Roads which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Filling between ponderosa pine logs will be replaced.
